PopMan

If you have multiple email accounts, you may spend too much time verifying your inboxes one by one. Mail clients can make it easier to check received messages, but PopMan offers a much better solution. It can retrieve incoming messages from numerous accounts and it allows you to preview or save them. It will also display notifications when you receive new emails.

The application is lightweight and it is distributed free of charge. It does not take more than a minute to download the setup package and to install its components. It works on all modern Windows platforms and it does not ask for too many resources.

PopMan's interface has a simple layout. It displays messages on the upper half and you can read selected items on the lower half. You can also click an option, located on the program's toolbar, to open a selected message on a separate window. The software provides support for emails in plain text or HTML format.

Messages from different accounts are listed on separate tabs. You can add one or more accounts on a small window. It is sufficient to specify a protocol, a server, port, your username and password. Additionally, you can select different colors for each account and make a few advanced configurations. PopMan provides support for POP3 and IMAP protocols, with or without SSL.

While an account's tab is selected, you just need to hit an Update option, on the software's toolbar, to retrieve all messages from that account. Alternatively, you can set PopMan to retrieve your messages automatically. You can save selected emails, in EML or TXT format or reply, using your default mail client.
